"Gris Anthemo, on the colorful label from Madrid moves the body, stimulating the most powerful sexual organ: the brain. Both tracks are clearly D.O.T (Dancefloor Oriented Techno), and will produce big happy faces from the very first note. Emblematic and joyful, side A contains 'Gris': the next anthem of the unstoppable party -- pure fun, with a cult vocal sample included. Side B, 'Anthemo,' offers the more experimental side of this loop artist, understood as a hypnotic element capable of making a mass of zombies enter a trance. Fake congas -- because they are beats appearing and disappearing during the composition, and a lot of special effects draw an outstanding production that offers various interpretation options. Alex Under's sound has evolved a lot from Verde Guisante, his first release, but he feeds his own mythology, where multiple and mutant realities and free structures are common ground for an artist that loves to change his skin as lizards do. This is the third full-length release from Bonn-based DJ, producer and park ranger, Dominik Eulberg, following his highly-acclaimed ode to field-recording, Heimische Gefilde. Like no one else, Eulberg combines sound and art research with solid and straight productions, attracting fans from all fields such as techno, house and even trance. The young man from the Westerwald alternates between straight-in-your-face humor and profundity, however, his secret seems to be rooted in tradition while still taking risks. Big tunes like "Bionik" or his remixes of "Geht's Noch?" and "Der Mückenschwarm" are harkened to on this release, as well as clacking electro tracks and sound research experiments. Eulberg's productions emerge from various approaches, never sounding heavy or over-produced, but also not sounding like another overly-simplistic minimal statement. Bionik is immediate and danceable -- real home-grown, friendly stuff. Similar to his DJ sets, he takes us on a journey into his world, his studio, his microcosm, and one understands why he opens up his home to us, and invites us to sit down and stay while.

"Citing Freddie Mas' biggest influences as 'dreams, coincidences and house parties...,' the Chicago native is determined to forge a new level of expression in popular music. For the last 5 years, he has been introducing a physical dynamic to his productions, collaborations, infamous DJ sets and performances, something that, he feels, has long been missing from a rather stoic NYC dance scene. He describes his sound as 'motion motivated' and considers music as 'inseparable from the phenomenon of gravity, yet a living art capable of greater possibilities beyond.' Freddie Mas' extremely unpredictable performances are heavenly and demonic, often simultaneously. Sometimes dangerous but never stingy, he aims for textural and emotional vistas largely uncharted by his contemporaries. Freddy Mas was previously featured on Codek Records and Tigersushi. Legit reissue with mini-LP style packaging; includes 5 bonus tracks. "First incarnation of the legendary Japanese hard prog psych rock act Flower Travellin' Band. Debut album by Yuya Uchida & The Flowers which was started by Yuya Uchida (born on 17 November 1939) who already was making some rockabilly singles in the early '60s and was one of the opening performers when The Beatles came to Japan in 1966. But when he traveled to Europe in 1967, he was immediately inspired by Cream, Jimi Hendrix and The Who. When he returned to Japan, he started the band The Flowers with vocalist Remi Aso, and the band caused a sensation in the Japanese music scene. Most of the tracks on this album are covers of songs by Cream, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, and one original song."

The line up is Eye on vocals and electronics and general WTF, plus a circle of 3 drummers. The bonus CD features 2 new tracks: "U-bus" & "Relerer". The CD is a short EP, only about 11 minutes long. The info we received says: CD: "Yamataka Eye Original Breakbeats. DVD: Boredoms (V∞REDOMS) live DVD." The DVD is NTSC format, all regions, for worldwide play. Approx 65 mins., Color, 4:3 aspect ratio.

"Cut It Up Def Records was established in 1989 by Bob 'Scorpio' Smith. This label was a launching pad for producers JockD, Gemini,and Jealous J (now called Jim Jonsin), who released many 12'' singles that are now considered cult classics of Miami bass music. The record went gold but the money went into the wrong pockets, so all the artists left to pursue other opportunities. Over the years with the help of sites like MySpace and Yahoo's Miami Bass History group, Jock was bombarded with emails and messages from all over the globe demanding more bass!!! More scratching!!! More Cut It Up Def!! Intrigued by the idea, Jock investigated and found that the trademark was available, so after a few conversations with lawyers, a search, and a 425 dollar application fee, JockD was the new owner of Cut It Up Def records. He secured the rights to release the original catalog, and here it is, remastered and badder than ever. Not quite the history of Miami bass, but a real close approximation." Here some ex-Confederate soldiers, with a dream to see the South rise again, steal a million dollars from the Union army and hide it in a coffin to make it past the Union patrols. Will they succeed in getting the money back to their Confederate stronghold or will a femme fatale foil their plans?"

"This French production, directed by Francis Girod, and originally released in 1974 (in the USA and UK with the title The Infernal Trio) is set in post-WWI France. A successful attorney and war hero, along with two of his lovers, (two German sisters) Philomene and Catherine, defraud life insurance companies by signing policies for dying people. Given their success, they become bolder and bolder and even resort to the murder of a rich pawnbroker Noemie and her lover, Chambon. They get rid of the bodies by melting them down with sulfuric acid. Their final heist, however, has a fatal ending for Catherine, but Philomene and George are now filthy rich after cashing in five life insurance policies on Catherine's death."

"Morricone works his magic again in this 1969 Italian production directed by Luciano Lucignani, Vittorio Gassman, and Adolfo Celi. Vittorio, Adolfo and Luciano (this film is based loosely on the lives of the directors of the film) were great friends during their days at the Academy for Dramatic Arts, which they attended in the years just after the Second World War, but they lose touch soon after. Adolfo goes to Brazil where he becomes a very successful actor; Vittorio remains in Italy and he also becomes a stage and movie star; and Luciano becomes a director, playwright, film critic, scholar and ardent Communist. Adolfo, after many years away, begins to miss home and sends a telegram to Vittorio and Luciano to inform them of his return to Italy. During the trip, Adolfo thinks fondly of his school days and dreams of a happy reunion with his friends, but both Vittorio and Luciano have changed."
