3-part 12" series. "A-side: Caspa - 'Ooh R Ya': Kicking off the License To Thrill series is the long-awaited banger, 'Ooh R Ya.' This one has been battered by the likes of N-Type, Rusko, The Others and of course, Caspa. It's an 'in your face stomper,' with an absolutely outrageous bass line with bundles of energy and signature sample, Caspa sets the pace for the License To Thrill series. Side B1: Orien - 'Equinox': the debut track from the latest edition to the Dub Police camp: West London's Orien. This one is a spaced-out roller with warping, squelching bass lines and eerie growling synths that keep you moving; expect to hear more forthcoming Dub Police material from the man like Orien. Side B2: L-Wiz - 'Mary Jane': Dub Police veterans L-Wiz come with another melodic dubwize track that has been in public demand for a while now. This is standard L-Wiz business, with dubbed-out horns, plucked spacey guitars and a deep weighty sub. This one's a right Bobby Dazler from Stockholm's finest and adds a nice diversity to the EP."

"Nagoski has been one of the most heartfelt progenitors of electronic, psychedelic soundfields of the past decade, having produced three solo full-lengths in tiny editions and contributing his sounds on record with the likes of Joe McPhee, Jack Rose, Six Organs of Admittance, Pelt, and Magali Babin and collaborating live with Tom Carter. Nautical Almanac, Andy Hayleck, Donald Miller and many others. A record shop owner and writer, he has published in Halana, The Wire, the Ecstatic Peace Poetry Review, Yeti, Baltimore City Paper, Sound Projector, Sound Collector, and elsewhere. "Einmaleins 27 hosts the music of one of the first artists that released on this label 3 years ago. Der Schmeisser provides 2 tracks for this release and a remix by the French 3-member group, DOP that has been in and about the last year in the scene. First on the EP is 'Minimailundwir,' a slow dark track with random vocals perfect for afterhours. The second track is 'Live for Life,' with more powerful sound and sound games all through its extend. On the B-side we find the remix of 'Minimailundwir' by DOP. A more stripped down interpretation, grooves made by all the main elements of the original and swirling synths."

"These recordings of Erik Satie's symphonic drama Socrate (1916) and the beautiful Mass for the Poor are both very rare. They have been out of print for five decades and here are restored and released digitally for the first time. Erik Satie's compositions have been recorded by such diverse musicians as John Cage, Gary Numan, Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett and one of his greatest admirers was Frank Zappa! Erik Satie has an international fan-base amongst whom he has attained god-like status. These completists alone will deliver good sales. Satie's sumptuous melodies (what he described as 'Furniture Music') remain attractive to the modern ear; compositions such as 'Gymnopedies' (included here in a performance by Francis Poulenc from 1956) are amongst the most famous of the 20th century. Classical, avant-garde and independent outlets the world over, should all do well with this little beauty."
