Orders in the USA will be shipped by UPS ground, with a flat fee of $4.50 per order (any size) added to your total charge. A street address is required for daytime UPS delivery. Full insurance is automatically included for all orders sent by UPS.

SALES TAX

If your order is being shipped to Massachusetts, 6.25% of the total item cost (before postage) will be added.

SHIPPING ALTERNATIVES IN THE USA

If you want your order delivered to a PO box, you must request US mail in the comments box on the order form, as UPS will not deliver to a PO Box.

Our automatic default is to ship via UPS in the USA (48 states). If, however, you would prefer delivery by US mail, you are welcome to request it. Please use the comments box on the order form to request USA mail delivery.

Orders sent by US mail will be sent via First Class Priority Mail. Your shipping charge for larger orders is based on the actual cost of the postage. ($4.50 for up to 3-4 CDs, $5.75 for 1-2 LPs.)

If you are ordering a large quantity of heavy items (books, LPs), you can request Special 4th Class delivery for a cheaper rate (assuming you are not in a particular rush to receive the order -- this can take 3-4 weeks in transit). The charge will be based on the actual postage cost.

INSURANCE

Insurance is included on all orders sent via UPS.

If you choose to have your order sent via US mail, it is up to you to assume responsibility for the safe arrival of the package. US mail is not insured, unless specifically requested (see below). US mail cannot be tracked if lost, whether it is insured or not. request this in the comments box on the order form.

Rates for insurance are in addition to regular postage:

up to $200: $3.20
up to $300: $4.20
up to $400: $5.20
up to $500: $6.20
up to $600: $7.20

The maximum liabilty for US mail is $600.
