"We knew 'Entropy Reigns' needed an incredible remix, so it was a simple decision to enlist Ewan Pearson and Al Usher (who also operate under the name Partial Arts) to work their magic. Pearson is a dance music veteran, and remixes for the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Seelenluft, Franz Ferdinand and Freeform 5 have made him one of the genre's most respected producers. He has programmed for Goldfrapp and Gwen Stefani and his production credits include albums for Tracey Thorn and The Rapture, as well as Ladytron, Chikinki and Jeb Loy Nichols, amongst others. Partial Arts is a highly-respected name in dance music with several fantastic EPs on Kompakt, Out of the Loop and Battle, as well as remixes for labels including Rekids and Ministry of Sound. Not only did these two have a keen understanding of pop music, sweaty dancefloors and strings, but they were big fans of Kelley Polar -- so they turned in two remixes instead of one! For the more house- and tech-driven floors, check the four-on-the-floor beauty of the 'Pearson and Usher's Closed System Dub' (spread deep and loud across the A-side). For more electro- and pop-fuelled DJ sets, 'Pearson and Usher's Second Law Dynamix' does the trick, complete with an insane acid breakdown. For the vinyl purists, we even threw the original album version on wax for you as well!"
