Sahib Shihab grew from the swing era to eminence in 1947 with Thelonious Monk, Tadd Dameron, Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie and others in the forefront of the bop movement. This is an exact repro of the 1984 reissue of a record originally released in 1957.
