"About his new album Kreol, Mario Lucio declares, 'I have put my feet on three continents, slept in seven countries, worked in ten cities and covered 92,482 kilometers by plane, not to mention travel in boats, adventures in automobiles and crossings in pirogues. Spending more than six hundred hours in the studio, I feel that I've found the answer to what was gnawing at me. I have learned that Men are not all the same, they are similar: this similarity is the pattern that distinguishes us from one another.'
