The Wighnomy Brothers are Gabor Schablitzki (Robag Wruhme) and Sören Bodner (Monkey Maffia), and this is the first mix CD from the house of F.A.T. The label could not have chosen more capable hands then the greedy fingers of this duo: Wighnomy Brothers have basically remixed everyone... Röyksopp, Ellen Allien & Apparat, Paul Kalkbrenner, Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Triola, you name it, they've fucked with it. In the grand spirit of driving the Autobahn with your most beloved, everything is possible with this mix. In this lively and lovely record swings the ecstasy of the dance hall, the melancholy of being alone as well as every happy moment alongside one another. With the euphoria of even bass drums, measured tempo, sweat and affection, there is microscopic finery and surprising tonal nuances. The mix is the result of all the technical animalism and the mechanical handwork skills of innumerable club nights, listening to what works and what doesn't work on the dancefloor. Also, Robag added individual samples from his treasure chest, incorporating surprising bits from Lisa Gerrard, Sidsel Endresen and Bugge Wesseltoft. The narrative of this mix is housed in a functional techno sweetness. Wighnomy Brothers spin unusual moments, with a full awareness of history and an experimental spirit. Animated sonic architecture for driving, listening and dancing. Other artists include: Agoria, False, Andre Crom, DJ Koze, Ralph Sliwinski, Stewart Walker, Mathias Kaden, Dirk Diggler, Kreon & Lemos and Matchiste.

Wignomy Brothers instructor Robag Wruhme breaks out the trim-o-matic. It's simply about electronic dance music with the proper levels of bar, meter and tone, and knowing how and where to touch. "Guppipeitsche" is a digital-bebop-swing-wallop to boogie to. Dancing like the '40s but to the good stuff from today. "Gloomy Head" is a groove for all dance gymnasts, brought to you by eternal melodies which are simply charming with an effective piano-line. Open your head everybody! Love and dance unite!

The Wighnomy Bros. return with their typical penchant for diversity. Robag Wruhme -- the producer of the duo, has taken great pains plying his craft in order that club-music lovers can thoroughly savor the energy of the DJ-couplet. "Epinikkion": with the heat and sun and warm raindrops, dancers gallop over the rainbow. This number drives the rudders with a bodily compulsion that blasts away even the heaviest fetters. With "Annopanno" and Gustav Wighnomy's "Okkasion" edit, the green lunacy of next spring is envisaged. A truly warm sigh out of the digital ether. "Hankkofloppe": the dark side of the duo, but mystical and unstable energy can save lives, and this is gonna be one for the floor!

The new FaT comes off similar to a 12-step program without the raised index finger or narcotic dependence. The final report: intoxicating music is always better than madness by intoxication! It don't stop with two intelligent digital rock waves. The one psycho with a proper nozzle in the veins, the other one purposefully burrowing a tunnel to the heart's warmth! The ring of fire is presented in the house of the Wighnomy Brothers intro. Track 1: this one punts straight to the brain of everyone in the proximity of the dancefloor, propelled through the waters by easy jazz sizzling. Track 2: a new soundscape with melodies and positive vibes all around. The Wighnomy Bros. build dreams machines to wake us up!

"Imagine the following arrangement: Jamaica sways somewhere in orbit. Instead of palm trees, the landscape is lined with giant, autumn-ish red-drenched wine leaves, Kafka and Nietzsche liberally conduct a fencing duel, in tattered trouser suits, at 5 o'clock in the morning on the beach. Meanwhile the sustenance -- fresh caught fish -- roast over an open fire. In the background mountain ranges cut a swath out of the fog and clouds, as animals in a procreative heat make feral sounds out of a world of mammals and plumage in the expansive flow. In the middle of this landscape, a gardening duo has additional fields that beg the cultivation of Wighnomic bread. Pele bloss unending vastness is applied to 2004, with the 2-man strong crew pushing the W-bros-starship into the galaxy that everyone who dreams of dancing should have seen. Freiekksemplar movement is the engine of cheerfulness, should grief present an obstacle to activity, the cheerfulness would become rigid, and distances must be filled through closeness and contact. Rhythm breeds movement -- cheerfulness triumphs. Nunca here the man is not the replacement parts depot, instead the depot is the man- or Brubeck, Coltrane, Monk, Silver, Davis, Jobim, Getz, Eno all work together to manufacture the complete eco-Mercedes! Precision and creativeness belong together yet!"
