RELEASE DATE

1998 release, last copies. "New issue of computer-music exercises/recordings by this NY-based composer, a one time student of Milton Babbitt. Gressel 'currently lives in New York with his wife and two daughters, working as a computer programmer, maintaining and extending software that models tax-exempt housing-bond cash flows'. Six pieces, the best of which ('Joint Resolution', a 14 minute piano-mod study and 'Points in Time', which exploits those classic bouncing ball/clanging glass time-space relationships) were recorded in the mid-seventies at Princeton, using the MUSIC4BF program. Keeping with CRI's recent reissue series of obscured conservatory electronics." --Hrvatski.
