"Jamaican Recordings follow up their excellent King Tubby and Augustus Pablo sets with a superb dub outing from the Revolutionaries, the legendary mid '70s Channel One in-house session band built around Sly & Robbie. Dub Plate Special features 14 rare and previously unreleased Bunny Lee produced dubs from the classic '75-78 period when the Revolutionaries militant rockers sound was dominating the reggae scene. All tracks are previously unavailable on CD, being taken straight from the original masters. Included are raw dubwise reworkings of the 'Love Me Forever', 'My Conversation', 'Going to the Ball' and 'Give up the Badness' rhythms.
