The tracks featured on this very rare and limited release offer a glimpse of the unique tropical music created in Panama during the fertile decades of the 1960s and 1970s. Both songs are not included on the Panama!2 compilation and are exclusive to this release. The Soul Fantastics' flute-driven track "El Mismo" is a soul workout with heavy influences from the States, featuring jazz flautist Felix Wilkins. Los Silvertones present an ode to Arana with "El Baile De La Arana" -- a bossa nova/funk-inspired jam, sure to provoke some heavy hustling in the discotecas.
