Everybody with a deep knowledge in R&B is confident with the essence of live P-Funk: the costumes, the stagecraft, the dozen-plus musicians. Alongside Sun Ra Arkestra this was pure Afro-futurism, longtime before it was current language. The so called coming of the Mothership took place in this 1977 live, during the life changing P.Funk Earth Tour. Anyone who's seen footage of the band at their prime can't overstate the greatness of their spectacle.

Live in Soest, Germany, in Winter 1970, WDR-TV. Right before the definitive incarnation of the man-machine and all along the ocean of sound also known as krautrock. An early line-up of the Düsseldorf legend consisting of the two original members Ralf Hütter (organ) and Florian Schneider-Esleban (flute, violin, vibraphone, electronics) augmented by future Neu! drummer and motorik engineer, Klaus Dinger. From here to eternity!

Mandatory Scandinavian recordings for the queen of soul! In 1968, she issued the top-selling albums Lady Soul and Aretha Now, which included some of her most popular hit singles, including "Chain of Fools", "Ain't No Way", "Think", and "I Say a Little Prayer". That February, Franklin earned the first two of her Grammys, including the debut category for "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance". In the same year, Franklin toured outside the US for the first time in May, including an appearance in Stockholm, from where this historic recording was taken.

Limited 2024 repress. Warsaw was the planned debut album by the English post-punk band Joy Division, while they were briefly associated with RCA Records. Recorded in May 1978, it comprised eleven tracks now known collectively as the RCA Sessions. However, the band were disappointed with the label's post-production work and the deal fell through, the album being scrapped. Four of the songs recorded during the RCA sessions had previously been recorded at the end of 1977, and it was these older recordings that the band would release the following month as their debut An Ideal for Living EP.

Limited 2024 restock. This gig, taped at the Warehouse in Preston, took place during the final round of UK dates Joy Division was to play before jetting off to the US. The live captures the band raw sound with Ian Curtis's haunting vocals. It's raw and powerful, a glimpse into that gig in February 1980 which became a live album. Translucent blue vinyl.

Headhunters on top of their game here. A live broadcast from 1975 right after the big sale of their self-titled album and just before the more experimental jam that led to the Survival Of The Fittest (1975) masterpiece.

Lovely put together compilation of rarities and hard-to-find tracks. The Redskins were a 1980s English band, notable for their left-wing politics, skinhead image, and catchy, danceable songs. Their music combined influences from soul, rockabilly, pop, and punk rock.
