Double LP version; gatefold sleeve; includes download. Swiss duo Adriatique have developed into one of the most esteemed acts on the house and techno circuit since their first release in 2011. After signing to Afterlife with the club-ready single "Ray", they quickly established themselves as core artists both on the label and at their events in Ibiza as well as worldwide. Nude is the most diverse and adventurous record in the catalogs of both artist and label. It's Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer's most personal artistic statement yet, a collection of songs capturing their feelings and memories. Adriatique prove themselves to be as adept at creating beautiful, melodic songs as they are driving club beats; the two worlds merge on this refined and truly singular album.

"Swiss production duo Adriatique release two-track EP, Soul Valley on techno label Cityfox. The title track captures a snapshot of the pair's mesmerizing brand of tech-house, which has been honed through sets stretching past sunrise at legendary clubs the world over. "Soul Valley" builds a transcendent soundscape through hypnotic percussion, dreamy piano runs, and an otherworldly synth riff. A cut of darkly visceral techno in the latter half of the track rounds out the melodic production." -- XLR8R

DIYNAMIC 072EP

DJ and production duo Adrian Schweizer and Adrian Shala aka Adriatique are back with more on home label Diynamic. The title-track is a tough, tense bit of tech with dark voices, sinewy synths and groaning bass lines. "Numb" is a deep and shadowy house track with smart synths, lots of filters and spooky melodies -- an intergalactic delight that takes you to another world. "Ion" is a morelively but just as deep track that comes from another galaxy. Sci-fi effects, smooth drums and somber, Vangelis-like synths all make this a perfectly future-sounding track that will create lots of drama on the dancefloor.

After quite some time being in search of new inspiration, Adriatique, the two guys from Zurich, Switzerland come up with Lophobia, a record that is full of deepness, melancholy, light and darkness. After some lack of ideas and creativity, several feelings about music in general came together: phobia or fear mixed with the love for music and daily business. With absolutely no vocals on the record, all tracks are mostly carried by several instruments and melodies. The outcome is well-balanced between recorded sounds and programmed beats and percussion.

Adriatique is back with their second release on Diynamic. "Deeper Love" really sets the direction of the whole EP. A really warm synthesizer combined with that catchy vocal and a funky, picked guitar makes this tune unique. "By Your Side" persuades with a coltish bass line and a deep, down-pitched vocal, funky, bended chords and a great synth line. With "Motions," Adriatique deliver another harmonic tune that gets under your skin. Finally, "Body Moving" brings the EP to a good end with a shaking groove.
