Released in 2005. "Out originally in 1982 around the same time as Jamaica Super Dub (and in England as a three-track 7" including Superstatic Magic Mystery), this single released two of a handful of tracks cut with the Itopia band at Wackies by Joy Card -- between her leaving home in Canada and enrollment in the US Army. Jah Son Invasion includes short and singjay versions of 'Black Girl,' which as this discomix was a big hit at the time in London, and played on the radio by the likes of Rodigan and Greg Edwards. Both sides are tough, edgy and dubby lovers' rock -- Joy Card is confident and winning, Lloyd Barnes busy and thrilling throughout."
