Born in Chile, raised in Sweden, now based in NYC, Alexi Delano continues to assault dancefloors with his relentless DJing, solo productions and collaborations. "What Is Control" launches with a driving beat, followed by a dark vocal sample -- it's creepy and there's enough vitality to keep hips moving on the floor with its funky bassline. "Not My Enemy" is a bit deeper and reduced. Weird synth-lines and spooky vocal shreds mark the break before the track ignites with cascading synthesizer triplets.
