Alexi Delano and Alejandro Sab's Slipping Through The Cracks EP is a collection of warm, effervescent techno dominated by phat, subsonic bass lines and effects-driven micro-melodies. "Back To One" features a cyclical reverse-scrape spanning the speakers, while the hookline sneaks into the brain. The gradual build-up leads to incremental reverb, wooden percussion, and buzzing synth FX. A strong centrifugal rush dominates the middle section which then briefly slips its skin before regrouping for the lead-out. Sustained tension with zero drama.
