The legend continues. After recording an album of the amazing new project ASA together with Uwe Schmidt/ATOM TM, the pioneer cult band Esplendor Geométrico presents their new album, Strepitus Rhythmicus, of machine-like and futuristic post-industrial music. Electric pulse of mechanical rhythms, hidden voices, and factory noises. E.G. reinvent themselves again and again without losing their unique essence. Based now in Islamabad and Rome, Arturo Lanz and Saverio Evangelista have not stopped their live performances all over the world in the last years with great success. Born in 1980 as a trio, and currently a duo formed by Arturo Lanz (founding member) and Saverio Evangelista (member since 1991), Esplendor Geométrico is an influential and international electronic cult band and also a rare case in the Spanish music scene, as they have developed their own independent path aside from tags, fashion or trends, in spite of being often classified as industrial music. Their career during this four decades hasn't had interruptions. They haven't stopped composing, releasing albums, or playing live (with more intensity since the nineties), and they have continued for the simple pleasure of making music. Esplendor Geométrico has achieved a personal and distinct style that can be appreciated from their '80s albums, when they used analog synthesizers and primitive electronic percussion, to the present time with new digital tools. Their influence has marked many later artists, usually classified in the so-called industrial music or rhythm and noise, as well as artists from current techno and certain types of experimental noise music.

Reissue of Kosmos Kino, originally released in 1988. A Spanish industrial classic album by Esplendor Geométrico, has been unavailable on vinyl for more than 12 years, now out on limited, numbered, and remastered 2023 edition. Kosmos Kino is the third album of the influential Spanish industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico. Recorded and originally published in 1988 and unavailable on vinyl for many years, now available again in its original format. Remastered in 2023, this release reproduces the original cover but with a different exclusive artwork on the back cover. After a start in which the line of acute distortions and buzzy basses of their previous albums continues, it follows a surprising rhythmic visceral nature, reaching its peak in the track "Trybuna Robotnicza", suitable for the most frantic dance and one of the greatest moments in their vast discography.

Expanded reissue, originally released in 2009. Esplendor Geométrico's style continues having a unique and unmistakable mark that distinguishes them from later bands they have had influence onto. At first sight, Pulsión is pure industrial hypnosis based on the electronic manipulation of sounds together with irresistible rhythms, repetitive, machine-like, industrial, hypnotic, sometimes tribal, sometimes danceable, that mix up with voices and chants. Some of them are taken from traditional Arab and oriental music (Mongolia, China, Tibet...) to be later electronically manipulated, others are simply speech fragments, as the one of a leader of a radical political party in Japan, Che Guevara, or an anti-occidental harangue from an Islamist leader. But the idea of EG is not to transmit any political or ideological message, the sources have been chosen for their strength and sonority. New cover design by Juan Carlos Sastre, founding member of EG, inspired by the original one. Special reissue, with a bonus LP. Not available on vinyl for more than twelve years. Includes a reconstruction of "Aplicación Insospechada" by M.S.B. and Luca Spagnoletti. Includes for the first time on vinyl the five exclusive tracks from the original CD version. 2023 remaster; edition of 600 (numbered).

Reissue, originally released in 2002. Esplendor Geométrico, the influential industrial pioneers of the pulsating, hypnotic and mechanical rhythms, present the extended version of their album Compuesto de Hierro to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. Recorded in Beijing in 2002 and out of print for over 15 years, Compuesto de Hierro was originally released only on CD and now for the first time on double vinyl including on side D four new and unreleased tracks recorded in 2022, inspired by the music on the album. Now remastered for vinyl, the sleeve design is based on the original cover. Compuesto de Hierro is a perfect example of the industrial-tribal sound of Esplendor Geométrico, developed over more than two decades, reminiscent at times of their most "ethnic" album, Mekano-Turbo. The hypnotic and elaborate rhythms are masterfully combined with vocals, electronic analog sounds, and sonorities from the Far East, especially from China. Compuesto de Hierro represents a unique viewpoint in the fusion of traditional or ethnic music with classical industrial music. Esplendor Geométrico: Arturo Lanz and Saverio Evangelista. Composed by Arturo Lanz. Design: Alonso Urbanos and Andrés Noarbe (original cover). Remastered by Luca Spagnoletti, 2022. Edition of 600 (numbered).

Vinyl reissue celebrating the 40th anniversary of Esplendor Geométrico´s first LP: El Acero Del Partido / Héroe Del Trabajo, originally released in 1982. Considered a masterpiece of industrial music from the eighties, it's the record where they started to define their unique style. Already devoid of aggressive lyrics and even titles for their tracks, the sound begins to acquire a personality of its own, with an astounding austerity. Repetitive litanies infected by impossible machine sounds, noisy buzzes, organized metallurgy, and newscasts from the East Europe, that glare by moments. Seven instrumental tracks of repetitive mechanical rhythms than paint a landscape of abandoned factories and rusty machinery. Remastered in 2022 and unavailable on vinyl for more than ten years. The original cover is preserved and includes an exclusive collage-insert with rare photos and texts. Edition of 600 (numbered).

Mekano-Turbo is the fourth album and a classic inside the discography of legendary and influential Spanish industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico, originally released in 1988. Now available again in its original format, remastered in 2022, and unavailable on vinyl for more than 11 years. Finally, the fury is unleashed in all its splendor. The superb three initial tracks are pure rhythmic adrenaline on which is supported the totally runaway voice of Arturo Lanz. "Rotor" would be even considered as a not intentioned approximation to the electronic body music. In the same wave are also located "Belew" and "Mekano-Turbo". On the other hand, it seems to be that the residence of Gabriel in Melilla (North Africa) and the consequent proximity of the Arabic culture it influences on some tracks ("Sheikh", "Transmisión"). Considered by the media and many fans as a masterpiece of the group. The wonderful cover continues the customary line of showing strange machines or decadent industrial buildings. Considered by many fans as a masterpiece of the group and an industrial classic of the eighties. Edition of 600 (numbered).

Reissue, originally released in 1981. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of EG-1, a seminal work by the influential industrial music pioneers. A classic and essential release of Esplendor Geométrico. After their first single, "Necrosis En La Poya" (1981), Esplendor Geométrico released their first cassette that same year: EG-1. These works were self-produced and distributed by the band themselves, before the appearance of the Spanish independent record labels in the early '80s. The first edition of EG-1 (edition of 300 copies) quickly sold out in the international underground circuit of cassette labels that was emerging during those years. It was reissued on the same format by different labels such as Datenverarbeitung (Germany, 1982), Ortega y Cassette (Barcelona, 1985), EGK (Madrid, 1987) and Línea Alternativa (Madrid, 1989), and later on there would be two CD editions. Without a doubt, EG-1 is one of the fundamental works by Esplendor Geométrico, and is also considered a classic of industrial music, where they started to develop their unique style of rhythmic-noisy-industrial which would be such a great influence on other artists afterwards. Tracks like "Muerte A Escala Industrial", "Destrozaron Sus Ovaries" and "Neuridrina" are regarded by their fans as some of the best recorded by the band. Remastered from the original tapes; includes an exclusive insert and each copy has been individually customized with stickers and hand-stamped; original designs from the first edition of EG-1 have been used; limited-numbered edition of 500 copies.

Expanded reissue, originally released in 1990. One of the most brilliant albums of Esplendor Geométrico's first decade. Live in Utrecht is considered a masterpiece of Esplendor Geométrico, the cult pioneers of industrial rhythms, and the best example of the energy of EG's live performances in the eighties. Recorded November 25th, 1989 in the Cultural Centre EKKO, Utrecht Holland, with a superb sound quality. Produced for the program De Bovenbouw/Nos-Radio, Hilversum, Holland. First released by Discos E.G. in 1990 and sold out on vinyl for 30 years. Except "Signos de energía" (a faster version than the one in Mekano Turbo album), the rest of the tracks were completely new at the moment this wonderful record was released. A special edition that comes, additionally, with an extra LP with seven tracks from the late '80s that were originally released on cassette: four tracks are from 1987, the other three are from the studio sessions of Mekano Turbo (1988) but not included on that album. Limited-numbered edition of 500 copies.

In four decades, the career of Esplendor Geométric hasn't had interruptions. They haven't stopped composing, releasing albums or playing live (with more intensity since the nineties). In 40 years, E.G. have left a discography of 23 albums, as well as singles, contributions to compilations, and cassettes published in different countries (Spain, Germany, Japan, USA, France...) They have collaborated with other artists like Francisco López (Biomechanica, with Arturo Lanz), Hijokaidan (E.G.Kaidan), Maurizio Bianchi (with Saverio Evangelista)... They have performed in more than 100 shows in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Japan, USA, UK, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, Chile... and they have a full-length documentary film about them, (Geometría del Esplendor José Ramón da Cruz, 2016), has been filmed and has received various awards. 40 Años Nos Iluminan is not just another EG album, as they have reinvented themselves by taking inspiration from their own long career since 1980. The new tracks included on 40 Años offer better sound and compositions full of details, sometimes subtle, opening a new path of exploration that goes beyond the typical current industrial music, loaded with clichés. Here, E.G. experiment with noise, recorded voices, striking collages, and their trademark hypnotic rhythms of industrial trance. 40 years marks a turning and evolution of E.G., which however still sounds like E.G. 40 Años Nos Iluminan is offered on a double-album package with 16 exclusive new tracks recorded in 2020. Four are versions-reconstructions of old EG tracks by close artists, like Atom TM, Most Significant Beat, Pragma (Clock DVA, TeZ), and Moral Order. Double CD version includes the 16 tracks of the vinyl version and includes eight exclusive bonus tracks (on disc two); edition of 500.

A cult band and pioneers of industrial music, Esplendor Geométrico were one of the first cases of true independence in the history of Spanish music. Not only financial and organizational, but also creative independence. This first single, "Necrosis En La Poya" (1981), was self-produced and distributed by the band themselves, before the appearance of the Spanish independent record labels in the early '80s. After receiving the needed funds from an enigmatic fan who decided to help out the release, a tiny run of 500 copies was pressed and quickly flew off the shelves. The iconic yet disturbing cover artwork surely shocked the regular clients at the few Madrid shops that were willing to stock the release but thankfully also managed to catch the attention of the emerging European scene of DIY experimental sounds and most of the copies found their way into the network of independent distributors. Without a doubt this is one of the fundamental works by Esplendor Geométrico, where they started to develop their unique style of industrial music which would be such a great influence on other artists afterwards. Necrosis En La Poya is regarded by their fans as one of the best records ever made by the band and shows EG's shift towards harsher industrial rhythms. After years unavailable, and previously officially reissued as part of the Esplendor Geométrico's box only, here it is the legit reissue of one the most sought-after Spanish records, remastered from the original tapes.

Esplendor Geométrico, the influential "industrial" pioneers of the pulsating, hypnotic, and mechanical rhythms, returns with a new album Cinëtica, after their previous Fluida Mekaniko (GR 2140CD/LP, 2016). Based now in Shanghai and Rome, they have not stopped their live performances all over the world in the last two years (Germany, Spain, Russia, UK, France, Italy, and recently Chile) with great success. The material was recorded between 2018- 2019. Cinética gives a twist to the line that the group has followed in their last albums, highlighted by a more elaborate sound. A less raw sound, but without losing the essence of EG: hypnotic rhythms and innovative industrial music, danceable and tribal sometimes. Certain songs like "Acoplamiento Internacional" and "Modulaciones", with Eastern and African voices, remember the classic LP Mekano Turbo (1988) that is considered as one of the best albums of EG. In Cinética, there are filtered and natural voices, broken, mechanical and industrial rhythms, synthesizers layers, percussion, noise, distortion, Mongolian chants... Esplendor Geométrico celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2020 and prepares special editions for that year. They have developed a unique style since 1980 that influenced many "industrial" musicians around the world, including the new trends of industrial techno. CD version includes two bonus tracks; edition of 500.

Selected Tracks 2. 1995-1998 is a double album with a new selection of tracks recorded by Esplendor Geométrico between 1995 and 1998. This is the second part of Selected Tracks, the first one was published in 2015 (GR 2136LP). Ten of the thirteen tracks appear for the first time on vinyl, and some rarities only released in very limited CDR editions during the '90s and without distribution, are also included. Esplendor Geométrico are pioneers and masters of rhythmic industrial music since their formation in Madrid in 1980, enjoying international cult. In this double album, you will find machine and hypnotic rhythms, metallic sounds, tribal sonorities, distortion, collages with voices, which also show their influence on the current trends of industrial techno. The songs have been chosen from albums like Polyglophone (CD-only release in 1997), EN-CO-D-ESPLENDOR (published in Japan only on CD in 1998), and exclusive live tracks that do not have studio versions: "Al Asalto", "Nuevo Frente", "Elektrozavod", or "Ciudad Électrica". Also included are three tracks from the Syncrotron EP (1998). Gatefold sleeve; Edition of 700.
"When I think of the word industrial... I think machines, gears, factories with tall smoke stacks. Esplendor Geométrico means exactly that to me. Hard minimal rhythmic machine music that grinds like a huge device that is cutting metal girders for large buildings. Though most would quote bands like Throbbing Gristle, Neubauten and Coil as being the truest form of industrial, the music of Esplendor by far best describes the word industrial when applied to music." --Adam-X, 2004

Double LP version. Edition of 700 (numbered). Esplendor Geometrico, the cult band based in Madrid and Rome, influential industrial pioneers of pulsating, hypnotic and tribal rhythms since 1980, present their new album: Fluida Mekaniko. Since their previous album Ultraphoon (GR 2130 CD/LP, 2013), Esplendor Geométrico have performed more frequently than ever and in different countries and festivals (2016 marked their first time in the US and Russia). Meanwhile, a documentary feature film about the group launched in Madrid, Geometría del Esplendor, directed by a renowned Spanish director within the avant-garde cinema, José Ramón da Cruz. The film has just been premiered at the prestigious In-Edit festival in Barcelona, receiving an honorary award. Fluida Mekaniko was recorded during 2016 and contains 12 new tracks that, although they continue the line developed since Pulsión (2009), reference their most harsh and noisy sound of the '90s. Industrial neo-tribalism, where mechanical rhythms hypnotize, like mantras, inducing a trance - it highlights, already a distinctive feature of Esplendor Geometrico, the inclusion of voices and sonorities of African, Arab, and Asian music.

Fungus Cerebri: Selected Tracks From Cassettes 1981-1989 includes a selection of tracks by Esplendor Geométrico, originally released on cassette and recorded between 1981-1989. They have been remastered from the original tapes for this edition. The 16 tracks are taken from Sinn & Form cassette compilation (Daterverarbeitungm, 1982), En Directo Madrid Y Tolosa (EGK, 1987), Esplendor Geométrico En Roma (EGK, 1986), Madrid Mayo 89 (Línea Alternativa, 1990), and Diez Años De Esplendor (Línea Alternativa, 1991). The '80s are a period particularly appreciated by the followers of this cult band, pioneers of the more rhythmic strain of industrial music. Minimalism, raw and harsh analog electronica, distortion, Arabic sounds, shortwave radio recordings are all typical elements of their style during this first period of Esplendor Geométrico, when they achieved a sound ahead of its time and is still imitated nowadays. Esplendor Geométrico were always very present within the '80s international scene of underground cassette labels. This double LP is the first one of a series dedicated to this movement in Spain, still fairly unknown despite its activity at the time, with dozens of labels operating from different cities. Artwork by Juan Carlos Sastre, founding member of Esplendor Geométrico. Track selection by Andrés Noarbe, the band's manager since their beginnings in 1980 and director of Geometrik Records. Comes as a double LP in gatefold sleeve; Edition of 700.

Limited numbered edition of 700 copies celebrating Esplendor Geométrico's 2015 35th anniversary. The band formed in Madrid in 1980 and went on to become an international cult act and one of the most influential pioneers of industrial music. This set contains four LPs packaged inside a special deluxe box and individually screenprinted using a metallic copper ink. The four covers, when put together, make up a main image. The box set also includes a poster. The LPs feature a selection of tracks recorded between 1992 and 1998, a period during which the EG sound evolved thanks to the digital synthesizers available at the time. The group developed a singular style of industrial music that incorporates techno-esque elements, hypnotic rhythms, and tribal influences. The tracks were originally released only on the CDs Control Remoto 1.0 (1992), Veritatis Splendor (1994), Balearic Rhythms (1996), Tokyo sin fin (1996, Japan-only), and Treinta Kilómetros de Radio (1996). Now they see the light on vinyl for the first time, carefully remastered for this release by Alek Stark, with improved sound quality. Included are some of the best tracks recorded by Esplendor Geométrico throughout their career; classic titles such as "América," "Al-Giabr," "El empuje del Desarrollo Técnico," and "30 Km de Radio."

Geometrik presents the first vinyl edition of Esplendor Geométrico's Nador, originally released by Dirk Ivens' Daft Records on CD in 1995. Fans of Esplendor Geométrico have been waiting eagerly for this reissue of Nador, a collection of alternate takes and otherwise unreleased tracks recorded in 1988 and '89, one of the duo's best creative periods. Minimalist structures in a strikingly modern approach. This edition includes an LP with the first seven tracks from the original CD and a 7" with the original CD's final two tracks. Double LP version. The double vinyl version master sees the collaboration of Teho Teardo, the prestigious Italian musician, composer and sound designer. The double vinyl is comprised of 13 tracks, three of them exclusive for this format. Recorded in Madrid and Rome during 2013, this is the new album by the influential Spanish cult electronic duo ranked as industrial music pioneers, Esplendor Geométrico. Ultraphoon is a leap ahead in production and sound quality, with a stunning and brutal outcome, richly detailed nonetheless. Rhythms, noises and processed voices from different sources come together in hypnotic -- bordering on trance -- soundscapes along the lines of previous releases such as Pulsión (2009) and Desarrollos Geométricos (GR 2123CD/LP, 2011).

Rhythms, noises and processed voices from different sources come together in hypnotic -- bordering on trance -- soundscapes along the lines of previous releases such as Pulsión (2009) and Desarrollos Geométricos (GR 2123CD/LP, 2011). Most of the meticulous mastering process on the CD version was carried out by Francisco López, internationally renowned as one of the top sound art and experimental music personalities, giving a new twist to the usual E.G. sound. The double vinyl version master also sees the collaboration of Teho Teardo, the prestigious Italian musician, composer and sound designer. The double vinyl is comprised of 13 tracks, three of them exclusive for this format.

Desarrollos Geométricos (Geometric Developments) is the new album by influential Spanish cult legends Esplendor Geométrico. Recorded during 2010 and 2011, a few of the tracks on this release premiered at the band's performances in Europe. Esplendor Geométrico has developed a unique and personal style that has influenced many groups and is increasingly moving away from the clichés of Industrial Music. Arturo Lanz, who heads the group, thinks that they can no longer be labeled as "industrial." "Our music is deep, powerful, primitive and hypnotic, using electronic instruments and new technologies," he says. Desarrollos Geométricos follows in the steps of their previous album, 2009's impressive Pulsión, which was remixed on a 10" release by renowned musicians such as Frank Bretschneider and Atom TM. Repetitive and mechanic electronic rhythms are intermingled with recordings of voices, shouts, samples from traditional oriental music and percussions. Some tracks induce a kind of trance, and you won't be able to stop listening to them over and over again. The CD version includes 9 tracks, while the limited vinyl edition has 6 (3 of which are exclusive, vinyl-only tracks).
