"After one year of silence, Carsten Franke is back on the front. He is the graphic guy and also one of the label heads of Ostwind Records. With the Dancebreakdance EP, he delivers the third release for his homebase after the highly-acclaimed Open_Closed and Shadows & Signs EP. On this release, Carsten Franke comes with more reduced minimal techno, styled up with some Detroit chords and melodic electro-pop elements! Again on the remix side, we have our Ostwind friend John Spring from Sub Static Records. He turned Carsten's 'Ramba Samba' into a more peak-time friendly and more topical & hypnotic techno version. All in one, a solid, timeless minimal techno to tech-house four-tracker."

"Every single track is individual, he never makes the same but you'll always remember him. Dirty basslines paired with an unintentional funkyness let prick up your ears and nod your heads. The groovy title track is real Electro Techhouse. Firstly it drifts pretty gently but after a while this track turns out to be a 'rancid' piece of music. A secret favorite is A2. This unmistakable track gets much attention right from the beginning and a starting sample of a guitar increases the tension. But what happens after the break is a massive surprise. Track B2 has a common acid-bassline and works through the main melody to remember the evening. What starts as minimal techno develops to acid-trance..."
