Goldwill is the artist-group formed by veteran DJ Henry Behring, who is resident of one of East Germany's longest-running electronic music clubs, Gerberei in Schwerin, and Ralf Schmidt better known as Aera. This release for Wandering is called Mows and showcases the immense musical talent which emerges when both protagonists come together to create music. Take a listen for yourself and prepare to be touched deeply by their new oeuvre.

This is a 12" by Mojuba sub-label Wandering. Goldwill teamed up with some vocal support by Lazarusman from South Africa to deliver a conceptual work called When We, where one mesmerizing main theme takes three different approaches to stimulate all your musical senses. From serious, rocking dancefloor action via deep, relaxed house grooves to sparkling ambient sounds.

DES 099EP
|
Berlin & Schwerin-based nu-breeds-de-jour Goldwill cook up a rather special release as Dessous teeters ever closer to its 100th release. Discooker is comprised of 3 original tracks on vinyl. Sauntering off into the night, "Nachtzug" delivers a tripped-out, jazzy jam that skips between off-kilter house and laid-back disco edit stations. A freaky, warbling synth tone becomes the main destination as skipping beats and warm, coal-fired beats pump throughout.

"Fate or chance? For eons mankind has been arguing whether one or another thing has an influence on our lives. It is however completely irrelevant which aspect one prefers for themselves. The important thing is that something is happening at all (and whatever happens is significant, of course). Therefore it is completely irrelevant why Goldwill and Musik Gewinnt Freunde have found each other (again) and the former use their machines to distill a profound future-bound score with earthquake-proof old school roots. The only thing that matters. Is. That. They. Do. It. To their and our pleasure! But then it is also said that sometimes fate is knocking at our door or our walls, not chance. However, if it does knock with a throbbing kick-drum, it could obviously cause misunderstandings with our dear neighbors."
