BEPOP 001EP

2021 repress. London-based musician Lou Hayter puts her sumptuous funk-lite hit "Cherry On Top" on vinyl. The perfect inaugural release on Be Pop, Be With Records' side-label. In 2005, Lou Hayter was the keyboardist in Mercury nominated electro-pop outfit New Young Pony Club and she is currently one half of electronic duo Tomorrow's World, a project with Air's Jean-BenoƮt Dunckel. "Cherry On Top" originally appeared digitally in late October 2018. Riding an infectious sample of Marc Jordan's yacht-rock classic "Generalities", it's a glistening, sun-soaked daydream-y jam. Here it's issued with instrumental and a cappella versions. Full picture sleeve; white vinyl.
