"We at CCO announce our first 12" release and welcome new artists to our camp. Herrmann & Kleine are Thaddi Herrmann, co-founder of our label, ex Digital Hardcore affiliate who was also responsible for the No Movement No Sound No Memories 12" on Lux Nigra; and Christian Kleine, a new talent from Berlin. Both started working together earlier this year. The first results are now being released on CCO. "Transalpin" and "Where Have You Been" are pop anthems, mixing some of the greatest melodies with old schoolish, sometimes distorted breakbeats Herrmann & Kleine found in their record collections. "Hello" and "Goodbye" are 2 small, quiet screenshots, atmospheric, almost ambient tunes. Herrmann & Kleine record their tracks only on Sundays, something you can tell from listening to their debut EP. Both are currently working on an EP for Morrmusic as well as on their album for CCO. Christian Kleine will release a solo album on CCO next year as well. He also played guitar on the upcoming Arovane album Tides."
