The next drop on Livity Sound is the first collaboration from long-time label mainstays Hodge and Simo Cell. True to the styles the artists have individually marked out since first appearing on Livity Sound circa 2014-15, Drums From The West EP presents fiercely imaginative, upfront club music across a spectrum of tempos. The supple, fluid approach to electronic music the two producers are separately known for feeds into a cohesive partnership, whether they're turning their hand to dancehall-inspired, sub-100BPM heavy hitters or jagged, technicolor half-step tapestries.
