2016 repress. Kenny Larkin productions under the Dark Comedy moniker. All tracks were released on Larkin's Art of Dance label in Detroit, in editions of only a handful of copies. "Clavia's North" and "Plankton" were released in 1997 on a sampler for his 7:Nites album, which never actually materialized. "Without Sound" (also known as "Without") was released in different versions. The original mix featured here is probably the best mix; it was only released on the highly limited Art of Dance Sampler 12". Fourth in a series of six back-catalog remastered reissue 12"s highlighting the best of Larkin's prolific career.

2015 repress. Highlights from Dark Comedy's Seven Days album, originally released in 1997. Starts off with the haunting, aptly titled "Paranoid." On the flipside, "The Bar" will still cause dancefloor mayhem, as it has done for years. The EP easily slides into "Ecletic," taking you on a trip to wherever you want to go. Another slice of essential techno history on 12". Fifth in a series of six back-catalog remastered reissue 12"s highlighting the best of Kenny Larkin's prolific career.

Originally released in 2008, this CD compilation gathers all of the tracks from Detroit-to-L.A. producer Kenny Larkin's The Chronicles 12" series. All tracks have been re-mastered for this release. This 2CD, which will be released as a limited-edition of 1,000 units, will come in a DVD packaging created by Newsgroup and includes a free download of a DJ-mix by Kenny Larkin himself. This CD gives a great retrospective overview of his work, including both the dancefloor burners and deeper material Kenny Larkin has released under different labels and aliases such as Pod and Dark Comedy. A winner for DJs and collectors alike.

All tracks written and produced by Kenny Larkin from the forthcoming album Keys, Strings, Tambourines. "Take the first single from the album, You Are..., which is based in part on the phenomena of The Secret -- Kenny's vocal here is something that wouldn't have been featured on earlier Larkin albums prior to Funkfaker. It's a track that sees him expanding beyond the dancefloor into some kind of new twisted song territory that most definitively isn't pop -- it's electronic, it's Detroit, it's twisted. Perhaps he's just taking in his now very Los Angeles lifestyle (he moved there in the early '00s) which sees him hiking the Hollywood hills and spending his non-music time doing stand-up comedy and learning how to act and shooting independent films and productions of his own and others."
