"At Wolfskuil HQ we have received so many fantastic demos from fresh and upcoming producers with a small and sometimes even no discography, that we have decided to start a sub label dedicated to new talent. This will be the second outing, from Dutch supertalent Thomas Lauren and a smashing remix from Juan Sanchez on the flip. Ever since his emergence on the Dutch scene the live act and producer that is Thomas Lauren has been causing waves nationwide. Within a relatively short amount of time he has built a solid reputation for himself with his mind-blowing and energetic live performances. His tracks have been picked up by Dutch imprints such as Manual (also Petter, Umek o.a.) and Dualblock. Wolfskuil head honcho Darko Esser has been following Thomas ever since he started out, so it was only a matter of time before he would make his Wolfskuil debut. 'Limit Life' is a melodic little monster, tear-jerking and ecstatic at the same time. It fits the Wolfskuil profile more then well. The build-up is tense, with excellent use of vocals that give the track an eerie feel. The melody and stabs that surround it are of great beauty and have a vibe that fits the Dutch summers, with its radical shifts between sun and rain, to well. Juan Sanchez (Smoke Records, Wit) is on remix duties on the flipside. The Dutch/Spanish producer uses the most important elements from the original and brings it to an overwhelming climax. The intimacy from the original is not lost in the waves of effects and filters of this dancefloor monster, which in our opinion is a job very well done! At Wolfskuil Records there's no doubt that we will be hearing a lot more great music from both these talented producers in the near future!"
