Christian Martin presents the Ghosts 12" for the Trapez label. The title track feels as if Klaus Nomi and Kraftwerk were performing together. Siren-like voices strike with high-pitched tongues, counteracted by bass lines with rough surfaces. "Work" is a groove box, a cool, dubbed-out steady-going beat that never stops, with some silly acid moments and a conga or two. Is Martin the new mambo-acid-king of techno house?
