TRAUM 126EP

Moonbeam's track "Distance" carries the haunted and ghostly feeling of the '80s, with spine-tingling melodies which have always been the strength of their music. "The Underwater World" dives headlong into deep, dubbed techno soaked in bass, while at the same time, unbelievably colorful melodies appear as friendly "invaders." This track is a masterpiece and will be transformed into a visual piece of art by Moonbeam themselves, on the day of the release.

The Russian brothers Moonbeam were voted as one of the top 100 DJs worldwide by the UK's DJ mag, in December 2009. "Tiger" is sort of a hybrid of Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash" fuelled with melody and a lot of post-techno feeling. "Land Of The Lost" is a track that travels like a camera does, through different rooms in a deserted mansion. "Zoo" relies on its cool, driving sequences and the hypnotic feeling it creates through them.

Moonbeam present their new track, "When Tears Are Dropping From The Sky," a versatile, mellow masterpiece that is sure to become an Ibiza hit -- great for afterhours and moments of collective happiness. "Chirpy" is the legitimate follow-up to one of their biggest hits, "Spring Story," and "Otaria Ursina" has a bit of a laid-back indie feeling, with unbelievable melodies and tender spirits.

The Russian duo Moonbeam follow-up their debut record Eclipse with a strong, musical 12". "Slow Heart" is a dreamy piece of techno with melodic stabs -- airy and liquid at the same time. "Something Alive" is stripped-down, rhythmic, and written in a stop-and-go mode, eventually exploding into a supernova of sound. "Spring Story" is full of energy and speed -- a peak time techno track that will make your heart race.

Moonbeam are two brothers from Russia who started to record on Traum with their recent remix of Minilogue's 'Seconds,' and who now are preparing a second 12". "Eclipse" feels like a road trip to far-out rocky regions... reflecting light, silvery colors, solitude and mystery. A fantastic mystic journey with a nice flow of melodies and a brilliant break halfway through. "Sunshine" generates an early morning feeling, when the first sunbeam hits the earth and starts to warm up the things around you. Musically, the track develops into a wonderful house tune -- its superb melodies and gentle movement make it a real summery tune.

REGUL 026EP
|
"Moonbeam is groove, is tech-house in hi-fi, is electro, is... After their passage by Traum and other labels in their ascending career, Moonbeam arrives in Regular with a record of presentation and clear consolidation of their direct, clear and eclectic speech. Side A: 'Vodka and Sand' is a extreme subject groove, electronic, and direct to the dance floor, we call electro tech-house... 'Hunt Main' in the B1 is another history: deep, patient in its progression and highly effective from the beginning. 'Cobalt Sun' like other so many jewels, keeps for the B2, an electro track, funny, melodic and direct to the audience."
