My My are on a hot streak (a forthcoming album for Playhouse already finished) and forge on with this vibrating 4 tracker packed with stumbling cut-up beats and bubbly sounds. "Invitation Only" reminds of the friendly-chaotic, free-spirited atmosphere in an anti-authoritarian kindergarten, contrasted by the introverted "Bonus Jack" with Rhodes chords and flute licks. "Lifetime Trick" and "Katzensprung" both feature swinging beats with crazy sound pads hopping in and out, taking the legacy of legendary eccentric sound innovators à la Thelonious Monk onto electronic floors.
