Ricky Peterson's Long Shot was realized alongside the rhythm section of his brother Paul Peterson (aka St. Paul -- who was a bass plater and member of the two groups formed by Prince: The Family and The Time), renown jazz/funk drummer Gene Lake, guitarist Bruno H. M. Müller (i.e. Blank & Jones and ex-member of Mezzoforte) and the WDR Big Band conducted by Bob Mintzer. Ricky Peterson is one of the most sought-after studio and session keyboard players and producers in America. While continuing as the musical director for saxophonist David Sanborn, Ricky has as well a solo career as a vocalist/keyboardist. He co-produced "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" for Prince and continues to produce for many other artists. Liner notes by Ben Sidran. CD version comes in a digipak and includes booklet.
