Sailor & I's music is curiously compulsive and at the same time beautiful and utterly brutal. Swedish singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Alexander Sjodin creates the band's signature introverted pop songs with the use of violins, voices, bass, analog synths and prominently-featured drums, recalling artists such as Rhye, Fleet Foxes and Woodkid. These two tracks, while very different in mood, share lush production and a knack for storytelling not often found in a typical dance release. While "Boys & Girls" offers a mournful yet beautiful tale of childhood days gone by, "Turn Around" comes straight out of the gate like a racehorse on fire. Remix by Âme.
