Having formed in Voorburg, Holland in 1961, Sandy Coast released numerous singles over the ensuing years. One of the earliest progressive albums to be recorded in Holland, this originally appeared in 1969 and has been compared to the work of King Crimson and the Moody Blues. Its lengthy title suite is a notable early concept rock piece, while the other tracks find the band embracing a more concise and melodic style.
