"From Johnny Thunders' personal tape archive, this recording is among hundreds of live, studio and writing session tapes he stored away for safe keeping in a box simply labeled Thunders Tapes. Cleaned up and mastered, the attempt is to reveal the recordings Thunders felt worthy of keeping and to release only the best audio quality and performances that live up to his musical legacy. In this debut release, Live From Zurich '85, one hears Thunders and his band performing at a Swiss radio station in 1985. Spectacular sound. Great set."

RSD 2019 release. "The 1985 Johnny Thunders' studio album -- remixed, remade and remodeled. Transformed to how it should have sounded! Plus a bonus album, and 12x24" lyric-sheet with unseen photos. Johnny Thunders was the legendary guitarist of the New York Dolls. He then hugely influenced punk by joining up with the Sex Pistols, Clash & Damned on the 'Anarchy' tour. His band the Heartbreakers settled and recorded in London during the punk era. Subsequently he only made three solo studio albums, including this one, before his death in 1991. Johnny abandoned these recording sessions early, leaving confused others to complete the album without him. Now two unused tracks and more have been discovered on the multitrack tapes, and the whole album given a powerful remix by ex-Vibrators' guitarist Pat Collier. Additionally, six unreleased studio outtakes feature on one side of the bonus album including two unissued songs, and five unreleased live tracks on the other. Includes new notes by Nina Antonia, with interviews from participants Mike Monroe and others, along with unseen photos. A feast for Johnny Thunders fans!" Purple and white vinyl.
