"Since 1997, we've happily issued Mick's distinctive brand of instrumental guitar songs on records such as Tren Phantasma, Marlin Rosa and Moth, in addition to the self-titled Tren Brothers EP -- so we know of where we speak. We enjoy the nocturnal and oceanic leanings of Brother Mick's compositional muse. But we're not the only ones. In addition to his worldwide fanbase, Mick also numbers among his admirers other record labels -- and over the course of time, he's responded to their flatterings by bestowing them with a song or two for their compilation, or vinyl-only single project or limited-edition CD... whatever these freaks wanted, Mick didn't care. It's just about music and art to our boy. Thing about vinyl-only/limited-edition/and compilation releases is: they don't last forever. Now that some of these releases have run their course, we're here to beat the bootleggers -- go back to your live shows, dicks! In the meantime, we've got a proper singles compilation for a hitherto unlikely suspect -- Mick Turner. It's called Blue Trees and it has some unreleased tracks and some great cover art from Mick that explains more than we ever could about the album title or the music. It's a whole new record."
