"Despite the fact that this 7" is Bill Vanloo's first ever release on his own, he is well known already because he built his reputation playing gig after gig over the last couple of years in the Detroit area. 'Tones' is is nothing else but a lovesong. Soft, beautiful melodies play pingpong with each other, boogie with something we call subbass and enjoy the work of various delay-units which might remind you of some of the early Detroit Escalator Co.-tracks.
