With an excellent run in 2016 with releases from artists such as Kölsch (KOM EX093EP), Danny Daze (KOM EX091EP), or Patrice Bäumel (KOM EX089EP), Kompakt's much-acclaimed Speicher series presents the first entry of 2017, with Reinhard Voigt and Terranova. Voigt follows up his Kontraste EP (KOM 351EP, 2016) with a deliciously raspy and hypnotic remix of Terranova's "Labrador" from their last album Restless (KOM 327LP/KOMP 123CD, 2015) - meanwhile, the Terranova crew returns the favor with a bouncy, twitchy rework of Voigt's "Husky". Both cuts share a love for meaty dancefloor minimalism that knows how to throw a punch.
