Compilation of two new EPs of Barbagallo, side project of Julien Barbagallo from Toulouse who is the drummer for Tame Impala and founder of Aquaserge. He lives in Australia and sing in French. The two EPs collected here are Tarabust (released digitally in 2020) and Les Grands Brûlés (not released) produced by Kevin Parker (Tame Impala). Julien Barbagallo is a fundamentally European, basically French songwriter. You can clearly hear this in every intro, verse and chorus of his songs. It results in great French pop, that contains elements of folk, prog rock, and chanson. His last album Grand Chien (Big Dog) was released in October 2016 by Arista/Sony Music.
