"Justin Maxwell, Palette artist and pupil of John Tejada, who has already delivered a brilliant Remix for Dominik Eulberg's
Flora & Fauna
LP on Traum, celebrates with his new project DSP Speedwagon his debut on Trapez. He developed the project together with chief scientist Cynthia Bruyns. It combines the abilities of the schizoid Maxwell 'digitizing the indigestion of one thousand angels, their stomachs simultaneously rumbling with gastro-oscillator sub bass' together with Bruyns academic research in physically-modeled synthesis. The outcome is a perfect symbiosis. You can fell this the strongest with 'What Happened' a track which starts off extremely dry and minimal and then steals away in a different direction with slightly hysteric samples which successfully embrace rock influences."
