"Best things in life come as a surprise, so when we decided to work on the remixes for Damian Schwartz's 'Ruidos y Frecuencias 1' we did not know the result would be so perturbative. Friendly People & Frivolous dealing with Damian Schwartz's frequencies & noises, and the result is awesome. Alex Under's darkest alias, Friendly People, delivers an extremely hypnotic and abysmal remix, a dark tunnel with no end, where the night becomes techno: a 'fuck the dancefloor' shout! The other rework is done by our beloved Daniel Gardner, aka Frivolous, who has just released his debut album for ~scape, Midnight Black Indulgence, after many great slices for Background and Karloff. His unique style here is rawer, blending house & techno for a full & shaky dance affair, including vocal samples, fatty bass and a diabolic sense of groove, complete with all kinds of furious snippets."
