In the colorful mosaic that is the well-known sound of 3000 Grad, the newly found label 3000 Grad Visions stands for the vibrant timbres of hand-played instruments and creative excursions between analogue and digital worlds. Catalog number one is a splendid example for this new universe of sound, which many will know already from the 3000 Grad events: Les Enfants Sauvages. The compositions of Swiss singer and pianist Lena Schmidt provide the basis around which guitarist Marten Pankow from Rostock and drummer Axel Meier from Berlin weave a sound that is wonderfully vivid and organic in its entirety. LES is an album full of dreamy, melancholic pop that now and then bursts into passionate eruptions of rage. The eagerness to experiment of this young combo rubs off and sticks on the mind.
