Lido established a cult following amongst the high-profile DJs that have been lucky enough to secure his unreleased remixes to play in their live set. These unreleased remixes -- with their signature intro four notes acting as a craftsmen stamp -- have led to numerous bootleg live recordings of the remixes; giving an almost mythical quality to them. This EP is the first release to feature original music of Lido's. It is being released on Pelican Fly. It strays away from the traditional four-to-the-floor of electronic music, instead highlighting hip-hop influenced beats, walls of synth and heavily-treated vocals, all with the ominous specter of pop know-how.
