"Peter Murphy's initial foray into the music world was as the inimitable singer for the pioneering early-80's band Bauhaus, releasing a groundbreaking body of work that remains relevant and influential in the worlds of music and culture. The second of two shows that evening at Chicago's Metro with a young Nine Inch Nails supporting. On the back of the Deep album and the hit single 'Cuts You Up' Peter's star was very much in the ascendancy in the 'States.
