"Peter Murphy's initial foray into the music world was as the inimitable singer for the pioneering early-80's band Bauhaus, releasing a groundbreaking body of work that remains relevant and influential in the worlds of music and culture. Known as an innately charismatic and courageous live performer, Peter continues to grow his fanbase across continents and generations. He remains a commanding stage presence, a performer who reaches all eyes, hearts, and minds in the room and takes them on a sonic odyssey. In recent years, Peter has played to sold-out crowds all over the world. In 2024, Peter created his own label, Silver Shade, to release rare live performances and previously unreleased material. The third release on Peter Murphy of Bauhaus own Silver Shade label is an unreleased show from San Diego's 4th & B from 2000. The band features Peter's ex-Bauhaus bandmate Kevin Haskins on drums, Eric Avery from Jane's Addiction on bass, current Psychedelic Furs man Peter DiStefano on guitar and Doug De Angelis on keyboards. Peter himself plays acoustic guitar on some tracks. By 2000 Peter had a wealth of solo material to choose from which is reflected in the career spanning setlist.
