Phil Seamen
was arguably the greatest jazz drummer Europe has ever produced. He was up there alongside such contemporaries as

Ginger Baker
. This album of highlights of his playing, with beautifully remastered recordings from between 1953 and 1972 also features
Jack Parnell
,
Victor Feldman
,
Joe Harriott
,
Dizzy Reece
,
Stan Tracey
,
Jimmy Witherspoon
,
Kenny Graham
,
Harold McNair
,
Ronnie Scott
, and
