"Frankfurt is definitively the capital of a new house movement and has produced several artists in the recent past who have closed the gap between house and minimal. The newest discovery of the Main metropolis is the 24-year old producer Timos who dares exactly this balancing act with his debut single Vendor. 'Vendor' -- which more or less translates as market stall crier is based on a solid bass line over which lie several deep chords. The peak of the track is formed by the harmonic interplay between a vocal sample, which reminds you of a Mediterranean market, and almost hypnotizing strings. The reboot remix on the B-side picks up on the main elements of the original and underlies this with a deep bass line and bongos, which make the track into a percussion monster for the dancefloor. The package is completed by an Alexi Delano remix, which creates a completely unique character through the exchange of different percussion elements and only picks up on the chords and strings of the original as accents."
