"Arturo Capone is a name you should know. And you will. Not just for the fact that his surname carries a certain fearsome respect in Italy and abroad. Arturo has been championing the classiest nu-disco sounds at his club 'Miocuore' in Pescara, Italy (also the name of his forthcoming album) with guests like the Idjut Boys, Stevie Kotey, Greg Wilson, Maurice Fulton, Joakim and Alden Tyrell and building the most loyal of followings. Stevie Kotey picked up his album on a recent gig there and the first single 'Svolvaer' is destined to take Arturo around the world in a Bear disco-dub spaceship. 'Svolvaer' is aptly named after Arturo's favorite place in Norway, a country that has been, in artists originally introduced by Bear Funk like Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas, a musical inspiration to him. Arturo adds his own Italian flavors though and even Bear Funk Gold artist Fabrizio Mammarella was enlisted on the guitar-lead flipside track 'Rego-dancer.' It's a family affair as they say, but you don't wanna mess with anyone from the Capone family!"

"Yes, he is back! Dean Meredith aka Goat Dance and one third of Chicken Lips provides us with more his wonky discoid sound. 'Goat Dance' is probably the most floor oriented piece of music from the Goat so far. Championed by Stevie Kotey as his secret weapon for the last four months, he has seen the effect this track has had on dancefloors around the globe. Goat Dance is pure disco drama with its eerie Juno synth chords and bassline so simple but so amazingly fat it should carry a health warning. As usual, the drums and percussion on 'Goat Dance' are spot on! The flipside 'Goat Dance' (Version) takes the bassline and drums a step further with a spine tingling dub version that would have Joe Gibbs running for cover. Don't miss this or you might regret it and be sad for the rest of your life. Remember Goat Dances are limited pressings!"

"The Midnight Garden EP is a super classy affair that sees Stevie Kotey's new production partner give up some solo work that is really gonna create a buzz. There are 5 tracks on this EP and all of them are stunning examples of how real musicianship always saves the day."

"Bear Entertainment, Steve Kotey's label is releasing an EP with three tracks from Feedelity-artist and Nordish disco-don Hans-Peter Lindstrom. 'Jodleknappen' and 'Naa Er Bestemor Paa Moten' are 2 nasty tracks with lots of jazzy percussion and techno-ish disco-beats. Arthur Russell meets Carl Craig. 'Gang Sound' is another percussive track from Lindstrom with dirty disco-ish. Lindstrom's Fuzz Against Junk 'Country Klonk' 2004 remix in the pressing these days -- you better watch out!"
