Bret Winans (aka CB-R aka CB Radio) produces music out of a studio in Brooklyn. Using a variety of gear amassed since the mid-2000s, he's experimented with house, Italo, techno, and more. 2014 saw the release of CB-R's Inside Existence, an EP of dub techno and ambient textures that launched the S//P//A imprint. He also appeared on 100% Silk's 2015 label comp, Sunset Silk, as CB Radio with the more Italo-leaning "Pacific Ocean Blues." With each release the producer opens up another side of his world. Full-color sleeve art by New York-based visual artist and musician Jay Goitia.

Mysterious Brooklyn duo Goitia Deitz follow up a pair of 7"s on Disc Error Recordings, which were championed by Stones Throw Records and Rough Trade Records, and their acclaimed 2013 EP Dream Meridian (CMM 011EP) with MODE. Their experiments in minimal electronics hint at a shared bonding over their love of krautrock, kosmische, Italo, techno, and house. Unplanned and never written, their tracks are produced on analog equipment and recorded live in one take with additional mixing by James Aparicio (These New Puritans, Liars, Spiritualized, Factory Floor, Mute). Presented in full-color LP sleeve by London-based visual artist CiarĂ¡n O'Shea.

Loosely associated with a collective of New York-based musicians, Cut Mistake Music's first release comes from the hearts and minds of the label founder Cnnr (Connor Whiriskey) and No Regular Play (Nicholas Debruyn & Greg Paulus). Future projects will come from our wider community of gift giving artists: producers, jingle writers, classically-trained cellists and violists, theater sound designers and visual artists. All release artwork is commissioned specifically for the music it will contain. Lisa G. Bauer, (lisagbauer.tumblr.com) a Brooklyn-based artist, provides the magic for Cmm0001.

John Hughes Daydream is a project born in Brooklyn with one foot straddled across the East River to a 12th floor studio overlooking Broadway. Conceived and created in the digital realm between binary electronic vibrations and silver screen inspirations, this release was born as a daydream and conceived in a haze. Our city is a river, a sea of imagination, with memories swirling and crashing. The beginning is the end -- the end is the beginning, the front is the back. Everything is back to front. Sit back, relax, close your eyes. You are in the back of a yellow Crown Vic New York taxi cab. Today life is a thriller, John Hughes Daydream is your driver, and dream-weaver. Let us take you away for the day. Available in a full-color jacket LP created by Brooklyn-based visual artists Masha Matveeva and Aik Safaryan.
