"Sie, AKA Janine Ludowigs, originally from Germany, has spent many years alternating between different jobs in the world of music and language studies, before settling for six years in Paris. Here, in early 2006, she met a young French producer who gave her the possibility to record and realise her ideas. When we first heard her music we were immediately struck by her blend of thought provoking vocals and achingly heartfelt melodies. This combined with a great attention to sound design led us to believe that her music was something more people should hear. We have specifically picked three tracks that encompass both ends of her production. From heavier more direct tracks like 'Caféine' to 'Sur Les Traces' that shows her more melancholic gentler side. Also the title track 'J'en Ai Reve.' This has vocals with a combination of German and French lyrics that, although you may not understand them completely, will pull at your senses with their emotive harmonic delivery. All in all Sie music has the capability to uplift a dance floor or send you to a more reflective place. Exactly the definition of good music."

"Tom & Duckett live in North Wales in the UK. They have been producing their blend of deep techno from an early age and although Tom is only 23 years old, it's immediately apparent where their musical mindset is. They are great advocates of live analog music and you can hear a wealth of knowledge, both musically and production-wise in these tracks. We have heard Tom play live many times and for us these three tracks are true highlights from his show. The title track 'Climate Flu' especially for us encompasses pretty much everything we search for. Beautiful melodic structure that stays with you, wrapped around subtle swung percussion and contra melody that although deep, still maintains enough intensity to hold a dancefloor. Perfect club music in our eyes. The two tracks on the flip 'Gathering Wisdom' & 'Whole Night Long' still maintain a beautiful thought provoking quality. Although slightly more groove-based they provide captivating listening with beautiful hushed vocals and tricky shuffled grooves that these guys have always been renowned for. All in all, this EP manages to evoke Tom & Duckett's unrelenting desire to convey emotive narrative through sound which these days can sometimes be lost through imitation rather than innovation."
