2nd release (from 2005) on this Belgium-based label, brilliant post-Brinkmann minimalism. "Discodesafinado are Senjan Jansen and Joris Vermeiren. Together they merge labtoptechno with analogue drummachines : automobile electronics exploring the space where classic minimalism, microscopic sound and exotic audio meet with techno, house, electro and disco. It's shifty and scintillating. Discodesafinado is equally the name of the duo's record label. Its 12"s have charmed many, including Ricardo Villalobos who selected two of Vermeiren's tracks for his Taka-Taka mix."
