"Camden, New Jersey is best known for having the highest crime rate in the USA. What has remained unknown is that between the years 1967-1968, a garage band called Nickels And Dimes recorded a nine song 33 RPM acetate album of original, pure 60s garage rock tunes. Unheard of for over 40 years, the entire unreleased LP has been released for the first time on vinyl - the way it was originally intended. Included in the album is four additional songs of moody, reverbed originals from 1966 by the earlier incarnation of the band when they were known as the Savoys. This LP included 13 songs, liner notes, rare photos of the group and insert with detailed liner notes by garage-rock expert, David L Brown."

...Volume One. "Dutch & English language psychedelia from 1966-1972. In 1968 the new foreign hippie gods caroused through the pristine Dutch tulip gardens. In musical history, this moment marked the end of the typical 'Nederbiet' scene as we knew it. The impact on culture and society of these new rockstars was totally overwhelming. People were dumbfounded. The handful of pearls which were produced by these bands are amongst the least-known and most sought-after vinyl that was ever produced in the Netherlands. After 30 years, these peals are wrested from oblivion and this unique collection of recordings finally gets the well-deserved recognition in the world of pop music." --from the liner notes. Artists include: Karel Appel, The Maskers, Met & Zonder, N.V. Groep 65, Dirty, The Motives, Crash, The Bumble Bees, Woorden, Mother's Love, The Nicols, Incredible, St. Giles System, Short 66 I.L.N., Children of Jubal and Suprieze.

"When the Walker Brothers got tired of their teeny-bopper status, each member embarked on a solo career (i.e. Scott). Gary formed the ultimate British pop-psych band with pre-Badfinger Joey Molland and unleashed one super rare Japanese-only LP in 1968. This CD contains the entire album plus 45-only tracks. Informative liner notes written by Finton Kirk."
