EM 005EP

Known for his work as the label head of Outcast Oddity, Engyn now presents his first own EP on the Kiel-based imprint Empore Music. The Pain features four tracks from Engyn, reaching from melodic ambient music to high powered percussive techno tracks. With an additional Aera remix, which leads you into dreamy soundscapes and euphoric open-air moments, the EP comes full circle.

With Nekromant, label heads Avidus are back on Empore Music, to present their darker side. The original consists of powerful arpeggiators rolling on a triplet-beat with a trancy vibe. Jens-Uwe Beyer delivers a dreamy remix with nice organic percussive elements. Berlin based Sebastian Voigt, who has been making waves with his release on Outcast Oddity (2016), completes the remixes with a straightened interpretation of the original back to a four-to-the-floor beat, even adding even more drive and power if compared to the original. The EP comes full circle with a beatless "Synthapella" from the original.

The talented Jérôme Sklorz, aka Jeremy Liar from Hamburg, brings a well-balanced EP, which seamlessly builds the bridge between a deep house and melodic techno. "Annapurna" will set fire to the dancefloor during peak-time hours - Straight forward techno with a nice arpeggio and pads creating a trancy atmosphere. Avidus & Christoph Vogel deliver a remix. "Semikolon" is a deeper take on house music with the certain dreamy "Jeremy Liar"-vibe. In addition Zaun Recordings founder ZK Bucket delivers a more techy version, a more four-to-the-floor-ish alternative besides the original.
