"Pablo Akaros is back on the block with Karmarouge on his second Noir release. He delivers three tracks that look straight to the dancefloor and shout out loud: Fight for your right to party! Pablo clearly reveals that he is up to pushing grooves, provocative tunes and approves the more functional gague of Karmarouge Noir. Pablo Akaros distances himself from contemporary explicit minimal techno by adding some real dirty sound elements always well touched with a pinch of voodoo. The A-side track 'Konnekt Köln' is a euphoric rave track which is characterized by a sophisticated sound architecture of lovingly selected rough and disturbing elements. Hands up. 'Pestana Pegada' on the flipside is dark but funky. A grooving bassline in conjunction with Pablo's typical sample structure merge to a rocking and euphoric primetime tune which also works at the party after the party.The second flipside track 'Rich Kids on LSD' is a playful frivolous tune that leaps for joy.
