Lovebirds presents some forgotten beauties on Best Before 2008. "Pad Me" is an anthemic deep house hymn, based on some nice 808 hi-hat and percussion sounds, and of course, as the name indicates, PADS. "Housemusic (This Is My)," the oldest track of these three, is straight, building, deep and energetic. On "Tansverb," the drums are slightly nuskool-ish -- striking chord stabs and killer bass lines make this one a real weapon on the dancefloor.

"Florian Kruse's sound can best be described as modern electronica, as he fuses downtempo dub-influenced grooves with more German minimal-sounding deep house grooves and tech-house, with clear references to the likes of Chateau Flight, Âme, Stefan Goldmann and Jazzanova, to name but a few. With previous releases on Om Records, Dieb Audio, Urban Torque etc, Florian is giving his debut on Knee Deep Recordings, a slick, feisty 5 track EP entitled Carrer De Secilia EP. There's plenty of music for all on here -- get involved & show your love!"

"Einmusik's producer and mastermind Samuel Kindermann presents his house debut on Knee Deep Recordings with his new alias, Ophir Project. Two tracks, equally playable, bursting with their unmistakable Einmusik touch, and set to cut it amongst any dancefloor worth its salt. From the hooky big-roomed 'Saphir,' through the hauntingly deep & stabby 'Tallika,' this one is a sure player in 2008, Mr. Kindermann at its best."
